Fingers in the Whipped Cream

Who doesn’t love freshly whipped cream? Who doesn’t love freshly whipped cream on top of a chocolate brownie with ice cream and chocolate syrup? I just got back from a wonderful get together with some girlfriends. We were meeting for our book club and reviewing the book, “Sundays at Tiffany’s” by James Patterson. Since ice cream sundaes were constantly mentioned in the book, Amy, the hostess, decided to make it the theme, “Sundaes with Sundays”. I enjoyed great conversation and decadent sundaes with some very amazing women. So why “Fingers in the Whipped Cream”? It seems that as soon as there is whipped cream around, someone wants to stick their fingers in it. It’s just like when you were a kid and mom used to let you lick the spatula from the brownie or cake batter. As soon as I revealed my secret surprise in the mixing bowl, “Fingers in the Whipped Cream”.
Thank you Erica for some inspiration for this post. For the recipe on freshly whipped cream, see next post or look under Desserts.
